Did agreement reach in Vienna?

PoliticsDid agreement reach in Vienna?

London (Times Of Ocean)- British PM Boris Johnson announced the negotiations to free British-Iranian ‘going right to the wire’ as it comes after the 43-year-old’s British passport was returned to her on Tuesday, which raised hopes of her return to the UK.

Boris Johnson says that negotiations with Iran to free Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe are “right up to the wire”.

“Talks with Tehran on the release of the British-Iranian national are moving forward, but that “negotiations continue to be underway,” said Johnson.

The Iranian authorities told Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe in Iran that she was being detained because of the UK’s failure to pay an outstanding £400m debt to Iran.

The British government has accepted Britain should pay the “legitimate debt” for an order of 1,500 Chieftain tanks that were not fulfilled after the late shah of Iran was deposed and replaced by the Islamic revolutionaries.

A precondition for releasing frozen Iranian assets appears to be the release of hostages in Iran.

‘In January, the 77-year-old former diplomat Barry Rosen, a senior adviser at the advocacy organization United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI), staged a five-day hunger strike outside the Austrian Coburg Hotel in Vienna, where Iran Nuclear Talks are currently in the eight rounds of negotiations, demanded the release of other hostages and those unlawfully detained by the unholy Ayatollahs.’

Barry Rosen, however, ended his hunger strike after five days when the U.S. Rob Malley said the release of the hostages was a precondition for a nuclear agreement.

At least two dozen hostages are now being jailed as bargaining chips in Iran, according to ICBPS.
